The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional. They were welcoming and helped us immensely during our stay. We stayed for one night because our trains were cancelled due to tsunami warnings. The staff helped us to find transportation to the leg of our vacation.

Nothing we didn't like. We would consider staying here again if we go back.

Location

There is ONE laundry machine inside of public bath changing room and it is always running.. almost impossible to use it.The room is rather small, but beddings are comfy.Some staffs are helpful, some are not.

Relatively new hotel with good location very close to Sapporo station. Room was a bit small but clean. Overall satisfied

The location is great, 5 mins from Hokkaido University which I spent a morning running around the campus.

The breakfast was a little disappointed with just a few selection.

Location is very convenient. There's family mart and lawson (same block as hotel). Jr station and Daimaru are within 5 mins walk. All the historical buildings are within 20 mins walk. Close to susukino but not as busy crowded/busy. Hotel is very clean. Japanese standards. Staff are accommodating and efficient. Left my key inside the room and they escorted me to ensure I have the right room. Kids love the free snacks in the afternoon. The family enjoyed the public bath after walking 15k steps all throughout the day. Will definitely go back to Mitsui Sapporo West when I visit Sapporo again.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are on the larger side for Japan and quite comfortable for 2 people. The public bath is open 24 hours which is very good to use when jetlag won't let you sleep at a normal time. The location of the hotel is very convenient - it is a few blocks from the Sapporo station, which includes the local train and the JR train, and a few department stores and shopping area.

The twin beds are a bit big for the room. mattresses are very comfortable though. Staff are very nice and helpful. I returned 3 days later and the rooms are ready and my stored luggage are already in our room. Wonderful! The guest lounge is also a plus.

Awesome location (close to Sapporo Station and many major department and convenience stores), the chic decor, friendly and helpful staff, overall cleanliness of facilities and room, and the fact they had a small ONSEN option within the hotel was fabulous and very much appreciated, especially after a long day of walking!

Had to wait awhile for the elevator at times (since there were only 2), especially during peak hours of check-in and check-out. It would have been nice to have access to the emergency stairs in these situations, so we didn't have to wait close to 8 min. at times.

Stayed at a Mitsui Garden hotel in Kyoto (03/24) and had a lovely experience. On this trip my adult son joined us. Although only one night, we had a similar very good experience and plan to consider Mitsui Garden properties in our annual visits to Japan.

Proximity to attractions, design, professional staff, well thought out amenities, onsen/public bath on site.

The location was perfect, and the staffs were so friendly and supportive. The breakfast was also great. The menus were slightly changed everyday, so it wasn't that boring.

It looked like clean, but I could find some remained traces of previous stays in the room, which was a bit disappointing.

Excellent breakfast and great walking distance to the train station, parks and shopping.

Clean is my first impression. The room is very spacious and good layout.

I personally dislike the shower in the bath tub. I prefer the bathroom with a smaller tub and a space for shower. Breakfast has too few selection.

Good location nearby traun station and surrounded by many amenities like shopping, food, minimarts, banks and commercial shops

Very well located a 5 min walk to Sapporo station. Good sized rooms and very comfortable beds.

Everything was great. Room was the perfect size (by Jap hotel standards), new and cozy.

Its location in the middle of Sapporo is perfect, so close to many attractions in town, a stone's throw from JR station. Staff members are super helpful, special thanks to Yasuyuki-sang (The Assistant Manager) who solved the problem with professional skills of management. Hotel has plenty of services offered to all guests with overwhelming facilities, e.g. magnificent public bath, complimentary refreshment from the afternoon until dusk, amenities available in the lobby and on-site paid parking lots. We love to come back.
